Recently, we reported that OpenAI was planning to release the Android version of their ChatGPT app soon. Although they didn’t provide a specific date, other than a vague “next week,” it seems the company stuck true to its word.

Well, that day is here. Rejoice, Android enthusiasts! The ChatGPT Android app has landed, giving you access to one of the most sophisticated chatbots on the market.

Since OpenAI launched its iOS app months ago, Android users have been anxiously waiting for their turn. It may not have felt fair for our Android friends, but at last, their wait is over.

Following OpenAI’s announcement last week, eager fans have seen the app sitting in the Play Store with pre-registrations opening just last week.
