If you’re a regular Pinterest user, then you’ll know how hard it is to find something you really don’t have the words for. So to help, the company is releasing a visual search tool that allows users to find stuff they normally can’t describe in words.

Here’s how it works:

Say you notice a lamp in a pinned image and you want to find out more about it, users can now simply tap on the new search icon in the upper right-hand corner of the screen, select the part of the Pin you’re interested in and Pinterest will display other pins just like it.

The new search feature will even filter out your results by topic to help you track down exactly what you’re looking for.

With the addition of Pinterest’s shopping section and its “buy” buttons on Android and iOS, this is a sure way to bring in a consistent stream of revenue for the company.

The company’s new visual search feature out today on the web and mobile, according to a recent blog post.
