We are a few months into iOS 18 and have only started to experience a few of the promised Apple Intelligence features.
However, courtesy of a recent leak, we now have an idea of what iOS 19 will be all about and what changes it could bring.
YouTube channel Front Page Tech claims to have a never-before-seen video of iOS 19 that showcases a completely redesigned Camera app with a visionOS-like design language, glossy buttons, and round icons.
Understandably, the YouTuber didn’t share the leaked video, which could have gotten him into trouble; instead, he allegedly created and shared a mockup of the real deal.
The translucent UI design may not be limited to the native Camera app on iOS 19
The YouTuber also mentioned that the same translucent UI could be used in other parts of iOS 19, including the home screen and other native applications besides the Camera app.

Last year, even before iOS 18 was officially released, a rumor stated that Apple might overhaul the native Camera app’s design and introduce a visionOS-like design language.
Of course, that didn’t materialize, but now Front Page Tech is making similar claims about the Camera app adopting the translucent UI with iOS 19.
Either way, if Apple sticks to its usual schedule, we could get our first glimpse of iOS 19 at the WWDC25 in June, and the developer’s beta will be available soon after.
Users with compatible iPhones can expect the public launch in mid-September.
That said, upgrading the iOS and native app’s UI is a significant change, and Apple may not be able to do it with a single OS update.
Meanwhile, Apple is already struggling to deliver announced features on time. Upgrading the iOS and native app’s UI is a significant change, so Apple may not be able to do it with a single OS update.
In addition to the alleged redesigned Camera app, Apple is rumored to introduce more Apple Intelligence features with iOS 19, including a smarter Siri that performs more like ChatGPT.
