The countdown to Amazon’s biggest sale event of the year, Prime Day 2023, has officially begun. This shopping event is set to take place on July 11th and 12th across more than 20 countries worldwide.

As a haven for deal-seekers, this annual event offers substantial savings on an array of items, from tech gadgets to beauty products, to pretty much everything. To make the most out of this shopping spree, it’s crucial to strategize your approach in advance.

Prime Day starts at midnight PT (3 AM ET) on Tuesday, July 11th, and wraps up at the same time on Wednesday, July 12th.

It’s worth noting that other e-commerce giants like Target, Walmart, and Home Depot, among others, also join in with their own sales events around the same time frame.

For instance, expect to see discounts not only on older but also recently launched products such as Apple Watches or Beats headphones.

The latest devices, like Amazon Echo Show 15, could potentially be part of these discounted items too. In fact, we can almost guarantee discounts across Amazon’s entire line of devices.

This includes small appliances and smart home devices – making it an opportune moment if you have been contemplating purchasing that air fryer for quite some time now.

Amazon typically puts almost everything up for grabs during Prime Day; however, certain categories tend to offer particularly attractive deals.

Pretty much everything, but electronics, including smartphones, laptops, or tablets, along with smart home devices, usually see significant markdowns during this period.

But that’s just the tip of the iceberg. We’ve seen kitchen appliances such as refrigerators, or blenders are another category where great bargains can be found.

What is Amazon Prime Day, and do I need to be a Prime member?

For those unfamiliar with Amazon Prime Day: it’s essentially a massive discount event exclusively available for Amazon Prime members, although non-members can sign up for a free trial lasting thirty days, allowing them to access it well before the event begins.

While there will undoubtedly be countless deals available throughout Prime Day, we suggest not assuming every deal is necessarily the best one out there.

Do your homework and look into price comparison beforehand using tools like Google Shopping or browser plug-ins such as Camelizer, which provides historical pricing data specifically for items listed on Amazon.

Although official Prime Day deals to kick off on July 11th early bird specials are already being rolled out by Amazon, so don’t miss out.
