No release date yet, but hopefully we will not have to wait too long.

It’s here, it’s finally here (kind of). Me and many, many other people have been waiting patiently for what seems like decades for the Borderlands 3 announcement and it finally happened during PAX East 2019.
The trailer introduces plenty of new characters but also makes sure to highlight some returning favorites, as well. Fans of the series are sure to spot things throughout that echo back to past titles.

One interesting part of the trailer refers to someone called Calypso who looks to be baddie bad guy. It should also be noted that in Greek mythology that Calypso is the daughter of Atlas.
Atlas, as fans of the series knows, is a maker of guns in the Borderlands universe. Coincidence, I think not.
There’s a lot to unpack in the trailer and I’m sure more easter eggs will be revealed in the coming hours and days, but for now, sit back and enjoy that Borderlands 3 goodness.
Also, no release date has been revealed but the trailer description does say to go to borderlands.com on April 3, so hopefully more will be revealed at that time.
