2. Error – Unable to connect to the proxy server

You may also experience an “unable to connect to proxy server” error in TeamViewer. This can be as a result of some inconsistencies and errors in the network and proxy protocol. To solve this error:

  • Go to the search bar and type msconfig and click OK
  • Once the application opens, click on the boot tab and toggle safe mode on and restart your system
  • Once your PC has restarted, go to the control panel and select internet properties, select the connections tab and click on the settings button.
  • Uncheck the proxy server box and click apply
  • Go back to search and type msconfig, uncheck the safe mode, restart your PC and try TeamViewer again.
  1. Error – dllerror

This DLL error is the most common error message that users encounter while using TeamViewer. The error may be displayed as “TeamViewer: Failed to load resource DLL (Msvcp100.dll)”, and is encountered when your PC cannot locate or is missing the Msvcp100.dllfile.

Once you get this error, follow the following steps to fix it:

  • Search and locate the missing dll file
  • Download the file, it should be in a .zip compressed format
  • Unzip the download file and find the dllfile
  • Copy the dllfile to C:\Windows\System 32 folder
