God officially abandons us as Dream Daddy releases this month on PlayStation 4

The new version contains additional content not found in the PC version.

People love their daddies. And I’m not talking about their paternal fathers, but actually, in this case, I kind of am. Dream Daddy, which had a PC release last year, is set to release later this month on PlayStation 4.

There’s not a ton to unpack here, with the main news being that this game exists in the first place. You play as a father looking for love from other handsome bachelors, all while trying to be a good father to your daughter. Dating sim-type games are a bit rare on console, so if anything, there’s that.

Features coming to the PlayStation 4 version of Dream Daddy

New to the PlayStation 4 version of Dream Daddy are additional quests and mini-games – stuff that was cut from the original release.

Apparently, Dream Daddy balances the meme-status of father figures, while still delivering a solid dating sim and story with your teenage daughter. The stories contained with the different men have levels, and not all endings to the game are happy ones. You also get to create your own hot dad self, so that’s cool.

Dream Daddy: Dadrector’s Cut (groan) releases on PlayStation 4 on October 30 from Game Grumps studio.
