Before you can record calls on an iPhone, you will need to set up a Google Voice account. This process is very easy and there is a step-by-step guide that will help you. Simply go to the Google Voice homepage and begin. After you have a Google Voice account, you will need to enable call recording. This will allow you to record an incoming call and save it as an MP3 file. Below, we will walk you through the process.

Step 1: Go to the Google Voice homepage.

Step 2: Find the three-dot icon which is located on the left-hand side of the screen and select settings.

Step 3: Go down to the calls section and turn on incoming calls option.

After you have completed this process, you will be able to start recording incoming calls by pressing the “4” button on your keypad. When you press the “4” button, a recording will come on notifying all parties on the line that they are being recorded. To stop recording, press the “4” button again. Your recording will automatically be saved in your Google Voice account and you can review it whenever you want. Depending on the country you are calling from, you just might save some money using IntCall. So before you use it, make sure to check the list of countries to see if you can save a dollar or two. For most countries, you can record a call for just 10 cents per minute which is really a great deal! The only problem we found with this app is that you can only use it via a wi-fi network.

If you are looking for a really good phone recording app that has a lot of features, then TapeACall Pro just might be for you! For a one-time fee of just $20, you get unlimited recording calls to anywhere in the world. The best part is yearly renewal cost will only set you back $10. TapeACall Pro works a little different than the rest of the apps on this list. When you receive an incoming call, you will need to put the caller on hold while you go to the app and hit the record button. For outgoing calls, you will need to open the app and hit the record button before placing the call. All calls are stored on a remote recording service.

Using an External Device to Record Calls

Last but not least, we have the RecorderGear PR200. This is an external recording device that you can use to record calls using your iPhone. To hook up this recorder on newer iPhones, you may need to use the lighting-to-headphone adapter. For the price of just $80 to $110 dollars, this device will record and store hours of phone calls.
