Season 4 of Fortnite is getting ready to come to an end, so if you haven’t hit Tier 100 on your Battle Pass or still need to level up for those last pieces of Tier 100 gear, you better get to work.
Fortnite Season 5 will commence on July 12th at 1 am PST and will include all new skins, challenges, and rewards for Battle Pass progression. No word on the theme yet, but if it is anything like Season 4’s superhero theme, it will be exciting to see what the team at Epic has in store.
You still have a couple weeks to hit this season’s rewards, however, and Epic is going to try to help you reach those goals with a +100% match XP weekend that takes place June 29 through July 2nd. You can always buy tiers with Fortnite’s currency, V-Bucks, but this will not help much when trying to reach player level-specific goals, such as the full Omega armor set.
Fortnite continues to storm forward, recently releasing on the Switch and earning over $300 million in the month of May. We should also see a full release of the PvE portion of the game, “Storm the World,” releasing at some point in 2018.
Will you take advantage of the Double XP weekend before Fortnite Season 5? Do you have the full Omega loadout yet? Let us know in the comments.
