Here are your free PlayStation Plus games for August 2019
An extremely solid month for free games.

Just a heads up, if you buy something through our links, we may get a small share of the sale. It’s one of the ways we keep the lights on here. Click here for more.
Free games are the best games. Well, most of the time. They are when you are cheap (like me). It’s one of the main reasons I have a PlayStation Plus account. Sure, being able to play online with friends is nice or whatever, but I hate those guys and much prefer the free games I get each month from the service.
This month is no different, with Sony giving users two free PlayStation 4 games to enjoy. Remember, you must have an active PlayStation Plus account to download and access these games.

This month features some solid choices in the form of WipEout Omega Collection and Sniper Elite 4.
The WipEout Omega Collection features some old-school, anti-gravity racing and even includes a VR mode for those with a PSVR. I remember putting quite a few hours into the dang demo version of the original PlayStation 1 game and being able to relive some of those moments is definitely exciting.
The other title available in August is Sniper Elite 4, a third-person, somewhat-stealthy game that puts you behind the scope of – you guessed it – a sniper rifle. The Sniper Elite series made its name with gruesome X-Ray bullet time and Sniper Elite 4 features more of that same goodness.
Both titles are available now for download.
What do you think? Plan on downloading either of these games? What title would you like to see come to PlayStation Plus? Let us know down below in the comments or carry the discussion over to our Twitter or Facebook.
