Apple is looking into an issue of reports of the iPhone X not working well in cold weather. Users on Reddit commented that the iPhone X’s touchscreen becomes unresponsive.
Luckily, Apple is taking a look and said in a statement to The Loop that it plans on releasing a software update to fix the cold-weather problem.
“We are aware of instances where the iPhone X screen will become temporarily unresponsive to touch after a rapid change to a cold environment. After several seconds the screen will become fully responsive again. This will be addressed in an upcoming software update.”
Think about it. Apple is almost a $1 trillion dollar company. They are pushing out a software update that makes a $1,000 phone work in the cold. What a time to be alive.
