Kodak released another instant print cam, this time even smaller
Kodak is rolling out a new instant point-and-shoot camera called the Kodak Mini Shot. It’s essentially a smaller version of the Kodak Printomatic, which we recently reviewed. The device features Kodak’s image processing, color controls, filter effects, and it even has Bluetooth connectivity. The best part, it can fit in your pocket, which was one of our biggest complaints with the Printomatic.
With no need for ink, a computer, or even a Wi-Fi connection, this is the ultimate gift for any occasion, or for those people like me who need the perfect tool to scrapbook. The Kodak Printomatic produces 2″ x 3″ photos on heat-activated paper, so there is no need for ink, toner, or film. Prints are also water and tear resistant with an adhesive back.
“There is a resurgence for ‘instant-print’ photography, and the demand for affordable and versatile products is massive,” states Jeff Clarke, CEO, Kodak. “The release of the KODAK Mini Shot and recent launch of the KODAK PRINTOMATIC Cameras are a continuation of Kodak’s commitment to instant printing and represent just the beginning of the Instant Print Solutions Kodak plans to bring to market. We are fully committed to growing a diverse product portfolio and investing in the instant photography business.”
The camera costs $99 and comes in three different color options: black, white, and yellow. To learn more about the Kodak Mini Shot, click on the link below.
