Three mobile games you need to be playing in September 2018
Seriously, all three of these choices are great.

Just a heads up, if you buy something through our links, we may get a small share of the sale. It’s one of the ways we keep the lights on here. Click here for more.
Mobile games that were once used to kill some time while waiting at the DMV have become full-blown experiences, with many great offerings available on both iOS and Android. Today, we’ll be focusing on some of the best mobile games to play in September 2018, so check them out below.
Mobile games you need to be playing in September 2018
Pokémon Go
Ok, yes, this game has been out for quite a while, and while it received insane numbers of downloads when it released, people quickly abandoned the game due to server issues and quite frankly, a lack of things to do. If you were a player back then, or even if you never played, now is the best time to start playing Pokémon Go.

With friends, gifting, and trading now in the game, you can work on getting those exclusive regionals that previously were only available if you were lucky enough to travel to one of the regions of the world. In fact, over the weekend, I met a man traveling from Japan and had the chance to trade one of my regional exclusives, Tauros, for his regional, Farfetch’d.
On top of the new features, it also looks like the game is gearing up for another batch of new Pokémon, with Generation 4 Pokémon on the horizon (no firm release yet, however).
Pokémon Go is available for both Android and iOS.
Alto’s Odyssey
We covered Alto’s Odyssey back when it released, and this is still one of the best games you can get on your mobile device in September 2018.
Featuring beautiful scenery and almost therapeutic mechanics, it’s an endless runner that works well to kill some time and provide a chill gaming experience that you’ll most likely keep coming back to.
It is available for both Android and iOS. Note that it is $4.99 on Apple (no ads), but free on Android (with ads).
Dragon Ball Legends

Are you a fan of Dragon Ball? Maybe anime in general? Maybe you just like fighting games. Regardless of which category you fall into, Dragon Ball Legends is definitely worth checking out.
Featuring iconic DBZ characters and themes, Dragon Ball Legends is a fighting game that uses a unique tap-and-swipe feature with various battle cards that allow you to fight your opponents with one hand. Even better, if you don’t like flipping your phone sideways to game, DB Legends is played in regular ole portrait mode.
And of course, with any good fighting game comes PVP, so if that is your cuppa, you’re good to go on that front, too.
Dragon Ball Legends is available for both Android and iOS.
While this list only has three mobile games available, I promise you all three will provide hours of enjoyment. Later this month, Nintendo is releasing Dragalia Lost and we have high hopes for that title, as well. We’ll be covering that here on KnowTechie when it releases.
