Nintendo Switch Online has been met with a plethora of critiques, both good and bad, but one thing that most us can agree on is the fact that we all love some good old nostalgia. And Nintendo being Nintendo, that is obviously found throughout its platform, including Nintendo Switch Online.
When Nintendo Switch Online launched, it included 20 retro games that gamers could access at any time (with the stipulation that they connect to the internet at least once a week). Some of the titles included at launch were Dr. Mario, Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros., Super Mario Bros. 3, The Legend of Zelda, and Donkey Kong.
While there are plenty of newer games to play on your Nintendo Switch, retro definitely feels right at home on the console.
More games on the way
Now, we can expect three new titles to hit the scene, according to a recent tweet from Nintendo.

The retro release schedule for Nintendo Switch Online
After the three above release this month, it will be time to start gearing up for the rest of the year. Metroid, Mighty Bomb Jack, and TwinBee are all scheduled to release in November. Wario’s Woods, Ninja Gaiden, and Adventures of Lolo will find their way to a Switch console near you in December.
