OnePlus has officially unveiled the OnePlus 3, its third Android smartwatch, featuring significant upgrades from the previous models.
We’re talking upgrades such as a larger, brighter display, improved durability, and advanced health monitoring capabilities. Let’s breakdown what we know.
The OnePlus Watch 3 features a more refined design with a noticeably larger 1.5-inch LTPO AMOLED display, boasting a peak brightness of 2,200 nits for better visibility in bright sunlight. The display is protected by Sapphire glass.
OnePlus has paired this larger display with a titanium alloy bezel with a stainless steel body, giving it a sleek, modern look and enhancing its durability.
There’s also a rotating crown that makes navigation the watch’s software much easier.

OnePlus Watch specs: display, chipset and battery

The OnePlus Watch 3, like its predecessor, the OnePlus Watch 2, operates both Wear OS (Wear OS 5) and RTOS simultaneously. It features the Snapdragon W5 processor and BES2800BP chipset, along with 32GB of internal storage.
OnePlus claims to have improved the battery life of the Watch 3 by packing it with a 631mAh battery that offers up to 120 hours (five days) of use in Smart mode, which is way more than its predecessor.
You can expect up to 48 hours of battery life with heavy usage, while in power saver mode, it can extend up to 16 days.
Additionally, the Watch 3 supports fast charging, providing a full day’s power with only 10 minutes of charging.
The OnePlus Watch 3 is available in two colors, Emerald Titanium and Obsidian Titanium, with a fluoro rubber strap.
OnePlus Watch 3: improved health features
The OnePlus Watch 3 also features enhanced health tracking, including a wrist temperature sensor, an eight-channel heart rate sensor, and a 16-channel blood oxygen sensor.
There’s also a new vascular health test that measures arterial stiffness. EKG functionality will also be available in certain regions, but the US and Canada are not included due to regulatory approval.
An exciting new addition is the 60-second Health Check-In feature, which offers a rapid assessment of your heart rate, blood oxygen levels, wrist temperature, sleep quality, and vascular health.

OnePlus Watch 3: price and availability
The OnePlus Watch 3 comes at a slightly increased price compared to the previous model. Now retailing for $329.99 in the United States, €349 in Europe, and £319 in the UK, it reflects a $30 rise from its predecessor.
Pre-orders are now open, offering discounts and complimentary OnePlus Buds in select regions—shipping will commence on February 25. Additionally users can use code TIME1010 to save $30.
