My wife assembled this chair because I was too busy playing Red Dead Redemption 2

Yeah, we do chairs now.

I like to sit. Like, a lot. And to be fair, my job requires me to stay hunkered down into a seat for the better part of the day. First world problems, I know. But finding a decent chair to plop my butt on for eight hours a day while finding comfort isn’t so easy.

We’ve reviewed chairs here in the past and, for the most part, they’re all great, with a few exceptions. I mean, we’re not chair professionals here – the only thing we can tell you is if they’re easy to set up and comfortable to sit in.

This brings me to this Aingoo vintage swiveling office chair. It’s $109 and it looks like something you would find in the recording studio that the Beatles recorded whatever album you can think of in. It’s also brown.

I can’t really think of anything special to say about it, so I’ll just quote the wise Jared Jones: “it’s a chair.”

When it came to assembly, I had my wife set it up because honestly I was playing Red Dead Redemption 2 and had very, very pressing matters to deal with. I mean, c’mon, I had a train in Valentine that needed robbing and them townsfolk needed to learn a lesson.

All in all, it took my wife literally less than three minutes to assemble the chair. That’s really fast. She did make sure to tell me to tell you guys that this thing was really simple to assemble. The only time-consuming aspect of getting this thing set up was taking it out of the box.

From what I could tell, all you have to do is attach the seat to the piston rod and then into the base of the cair. From there, all that’s left to do is just clip in the casters wheels and you’re good to go. Yup, it’s that easy and I take all the credit for it (please don’t tell my wife).

I have to say, it is a good looking chair and fits the feng shui of my home very nicely. I have hardwood floors throughout my home so the color matches perfectly. Oh yea, it’s comfortable too. But honestly, this isn’t a chair I can imagine myself sitting in for 8 hours a day. I think it’s more of a piece of furniture to impress guests with by saying “hey, I have a fancy chair, look at me.”

Guys, it’s a chair. But it’s a really nice looking chair. It’s also $109 which isn’t all that expensive. I’m sure you could find the same chair in a fancy-schmancy furniture store for a whole lot more.

A sample unit was provided to KnowTechie for the purpose of this review.
