For whatever reason, Facebook just announced the ability to “order food for pick-up or delivery, directly on Facebook.” The new service is rolling out today on iOS, Android, and via the web.
Some of the participating restaurants include Papa John’s, Wingstop, Panera, Jack in the Box, TGI Friday’s, Denny’s, El Pollo Loco, Chipotle, Five Guys and Jimmy John’s. But what’s interesting is that Facebook isn’t actually delivering the food, instead, they’ll be partnering up with food delivery services such as ChowNow, EatStreet, Delivery.com, Olo, and DoorDash.
Unfortunately, some of the more prominent delivery services like Seamless and Caviar, do not appear to be working with Facebook at this time.
To get started, users can navigate to the Order Food section in the Explore menu. From there, you can browse through all the food options and tap on the “Start Order” option. If the restaurant you’re ordering from offers a number of delivery services, you can pick which one you prefer.
Here’s a helpful video below that walks you through the whole process step by step:

Facebook has been testing this feature over the past year and plants on adding more partners to the food ordering platform. This new feature rolls out everywhere in the US on iOS, Android, and desktop.
