We now have 20 minutes of Life is Strange 2 gameplay footage to sink our teeth into
I’m going to make all of the worst decisions. Just like in real life.
I was a big fan of the original Life is Strange that released back in back in 2015 and told the story of Max, Arcadia Bay, and her old/new best bud, Chloe. While I did have issues with some aspects of the story, the journey was a fantastic one. The next sentence is going to be slightly spoiler-y if you haven’t played the game or not watched anything about it. There’s your warning. While there is a lot of story to unravel in Life is Strange, one of the main points is obviously Max’s powers and her abilities to use and understand them.
Life is Strange 2 continues on that theme of superpowers and the latest gameplay footage gives us a bit more to chew on while we wait for the game to release on September 27 of this year. Like the original, and the prequel Before the Storm, this will be a five-part episodic adventure that will release over time. You can check out the gameplay footage above, and, as usual, developer Dontnod has crushed it with both the style and music.
Also, and I just needed to state this, Sean and Daniel’s dad is the greatest digital person ever, the GOAT of digital dads.
For a bit more about Life is Strange 2, you can also check out Dontnod’s blog post, which has some more details and provides a bit more background.
Played both Life is Strange and Before the Storm and still looking for that fix? Make sure to check out The Awesome Adventures of Captain Spirit, a free prequel of sorts to Life is Strange 2.
