After a ridiculously long wait, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2, created by Insomniac in collaboration with Marvel, has a PC port, officially launched on January 30, 2025.
In earlier generations, first-party PlayStation games were exclusive to their consoles, but in recent years, Sony has expanded into the PC market.
The journey started with the PC release of Horizon Zero Dawn in 2020, leading to the porting of first-party PlayStation games such as Days Gone, 2014’s God of War, and Marvel’s Spider-Man to PC through platforms like Steam.
Originally, Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 was also a PS5-exclusive title, released in October 2023. Now, Sony’s second iteration of Wall-Crawler’s journey is available on Windows PC with some exclusive features.
