The Fortnite World Cup is Epic Games’ take on esports and with huge prizes available, plenty of people enjoy participating in – and watching – these tournaments.
Now, you’ll be able to play Fortnite while watching Fortnite thanks to update 9.41.
Play Fortnite while watching Fortnite, plus other updates
Update 9.41 brings with it a couple things, but the main thing here is picture-in-picture mode for a freaking video game. The feature will let you decide if you want to stream a match during your time in the lobby before your match starts. If you agree to it, you’ll begin streaming the live feed of the program. Here is a list of World Cup streaming dates.
- Picture-in-Picture mode to watch Fortnite World Cup matches in-game (learn more
- A new Storm Scout Sniper Rifle – scope in to see the storm’s next location
- New birthday presents around the map that give legendary loot
- New birthday cakes on the map that return health and shield
The new birthday items that have been added to the game are to help Epic Games’ celebrate two years of Fortnite battle royale. The birthday items will be available on July 25.
