Microsoft may be gearing up for an Xbox Game Pass service for PC, but that doesn’t mean the company isn’t still offering free games each month for Xbox One and Xbox 360 gamers.

This month sees a unique blend of titles, so let’s get right to it.

Free Xbox Games with Gold for June 2019

This month sees four games, as usual, two for Xbox One and two that work with both the Xbox One and 360.

EA Sports NHL 19 (June 1 to 30) – Xbox One
Rivals of Aether (June 16 to July 15) – Xbox One
Portal: Still Alive (June 1 to 15) – Xbox One and Xbox 360
Earth Defense Force 2017 (June 16 to 30) – Xbox One and Xbox 360

EA Sports NHL 19 is still a $60 game, so even if you aren’t a huge hockey fan, you should download it on principle. And then, if you haven’t played, Portal is a game everyone should play, so get on that ASAP.

Honestly, it’s a pretty solid month for free Xbox games, so if you’re trying to avoid spending cash then you definitely have some fun options for the month of June.
