Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series EU prices leaked ahead of launch

Samsung is preparing for its next Unpacked event set for July 26th. The star attractions of the event will be the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.

But that’s not all. Samsung is also expected to unveil the Galaxy Tab S9 Series and Galaxy Watch 6 series at this event.

A previous leak suggests that the Galaxy Tab S9 series will include three tablets: Tab S9, Tab S9 Plus, and Tab S9 Ultra. All are expected to make an appearance at the upcoming event. Now a new leak has revealed their European pricing.

Galaxy Tab S9 Series leaked European pricing

According to a report by SamInsider, the base Wi-Fi model of Galaxy Tab S9 (with 8GB memory and 128GB internal storage) would start at €929. The Wi-Fi variant of Tab S9 with upgraded specs (12GB memory and 256GB internal storage) will cost €1,049.

The Galaxy Tab S9 Plus Wi-Fi model is expected to be priced at €1,149 while featuring similar specs as above. Meanwhile, the high-end Galaxy Tab S9 Ultra Wi-Fi variant would cost €1,369.

However, these prices could vary due to different VAT rates and duties in various EU markets. Prices for cellular variants which are currently unknown may also differ.

Galaxy Tab S9 Series leaked specs

Recent leaks have disclosed specifications for all three models in the Galaxy Tab S9 series.

Tipster Ishan Agarwal revealed on Twitter that these highly anticipated devices from Samsung would feature an overclocked variant of Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset – same SoC featured on the Galaxy S23 series.


All tablets are expected to come with optical fingerprint sensors, support for Samsung’s signature stylus – ‘S Pen’, a four-speaker setup, IP68 rating among other features.

A recent leak has disclosed the specifications of all three of the Galaxy Tab S9 series tablets. Tipster Ishan Agarwal revealed the specs of these highly speculated devices from Samsung.

All the tablets are expected to be powered by an overclocked variant of the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset-the same SoC featured on the Galaxy S23 series. 

Additionally, all the tablets feature optical fingerprint sensors, S-Pen support, a four-speaker setup, and the latest addition is an IP68 rating. The rest of the specs are as follows. 

The Tab S9 Ultra is expected to come with up to 16GB of memory and up to a whopping 1TB of internal storage. The device will be powered by an impressive 11,200 mAh battery that supports charging speeds of up to 45W.

For photography and video calls, it should feature a 12MP front-facing camera and a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13MP main lens and an additional 8MP lens.

The Galaxy Tab S9 Plus has 285.4 x 185.4 x 5.7mm dimensions. It features a 12.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X WQXGA+ panel with up to 12GB of memory and up to 512GB of internal storage. A 10,090 mAh battery powers the device—the same front and rear camera setup as the Tab S9 Ultra. 

Lastly, the standard Tab S9 has a 254.8 x 165.8 x 5.9mm dimension, featuring an 11-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X WQXGA+ panel with up to 12GB of memory and up to 256GB of internal storage.

An 8,400 mAh battery is powering the device. Cameras include a 12MP front-facing camera and a 13MP rear camera.

It’s important to note that all these specs are based on leaks and rumors; the actual devices may vary when they officially launch at Samsung’s Unpacked event.
