While the internal display size remains unchanged, Samsung has increased the external display from 1.9 inches to a more generous 3.4 inches, boasting a resolution of 748 x 720.
Both displays are set to impress with variable refresh rates, peaking at a smooth 120 Hz. This year’s model retains the dual camera module atop the cover display—a 12MP (f/1.8) primary shooter paired with a 12MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide sensor.
The front-facing camera remains a punch-hole cut-out housing a 10MP (f/2.4) sensor.
Samsung is said to be upping the ante on the price tag for this year’s Galaxy Z Flip 5. The base model, equipped with 8GB memory and 128GB storage, will reportedly kick off at €1,299—a noticeable 13% hike from last year’s pricing.
Options for larger storage capacities of 256GB and 512GB will also be available.
