New leak reveals Galaxy Z Flip 5 complete specs and pricing

SnoopyTech has just dropped a major leak about the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 5 in an extremely cryptic tweet, giving us an early peek more than a month ahead of its official launch.
The well-known leaker shared several images showcasing the upcoming Galaxy Z Flip 5 in a variety of colors.
Per the leak, Samsung’s new flip phone will hit the market in four color options: Cream, Graphite, Lavender, and Mint. As for other details? The device boasts a fresh hinge mechanism—dubbed as ‘Water Drop’—that allows it to close seamlessly without leaving any gap.
Despite these changes, the device maintains its IPX8 rating with no word yet on an IP58 certification.
However, based on leaked specs, this new model is set to be 2mm slimmer and 0.2mm taller than its predecessor at dimensions of 85.1 x 71.9 x 15.1 mm and weighing in at a comfortable 187g.

In terms of specs, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 has the same 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED internal flooding display with 2640 x 1080 pixel resolution.
While the internal display size remains unchanged, Samsung has increased the external display from 1.9 inches to a more generous 3.4 inches, boasting a resolution of 748 x 720.
Both displays are set to impress with variable refresh rates, peaking at a smooth 120 Hz. This year’s model retains the dual camera module atop the cover display—a 12MP (f/1.8) primary shooter paired with a 12MP (f/2.2) ultra-wide sensor.
The front-facing camera remains a punch-hole cut-out housing a 10MP (f/2.4) sensor.
Under its sleek exterior, the Z Flip 5 will be powered by a 3,700 mAh battery and pre-loaded with Android 13 paired with a blazing-fast Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. chipset.
Other notable features include USB-C 3.2 connectivity, Bluetooth 5.2, Wi-Fi 6E support, and dual SIM capabilities for both nanoSIM and eSIM.
Samsung is said to be upping the ante on the price tag for this year’s Galaxy Z Flip 5. The base model, equipped with 8GB memory and 128GB storage, will reportedly kick off at €1,299—a noticeable 13% hike from last year’s pricing.
Options for larger storage capacities of 256GB and 512GB will also be available.
