The Samsung rumor mill is in overdrive this year, showing no signs of slowing down.
The Korean tech giant is firing on all cylinders, gearing up for the eagerly anticipated Unpacked event slated for late July. Samsung stands ready to pull back the curtain on the Galaxy Z Fold 5, Galaxy Z Flip 5, and Galaxy Watch 6.
There’s also some buzz about the possible reveal of the Galaxy Tab S9 series at the July event, but we’re not putting all our eggs in that basket just yet.
A few weeks ago, a major Galaxy Watch 6 Classic leak revealed CAD renders of Samsung’s upcoming watch, courtesy of Steve “OnLeaks” Hemmerstoffer. But the leak didn’t stop there.
New press renders of the Watch 6 series have surfaced, supposedly leaked by Samsung. These images are believed to be the official retail images of the Galaxy Watch 6 series.
Galaxy Watch 6 press renders
WinFuture shed light on the latest Watch 6 press renders. The leak aptly shows the design and color of the upcoming WearOS smartwatches.
As expected, both Watch 6 series smartwatches are available in multiple colors. The renders show the standard Galaxy Watch 6 in three colors (Black, Silver & Cream), while the Watch 6 Classic is available in two colors (Black & Silver). ]
Naturally, we shouldn’t rule out the possibility that Samsung might have more color options up its sleeve for the smartwatches or might introduce new hues down the line. However, you can certainly anticipate seeing these colors at the launch.
What’s particularly intriguing is the absence of any mention of a Galaxy Watch 6 Pro. It seems the odds of seeing a Pro watch this year are quite slim.
So, could this signal the end of Samsung’s Watch Pro line? While we can’t be certain, we are indeed thrilled to see the Classic variant stepping up to claim its rightful place as Samsung’s flagship watch model.
When it comes to the Galaxy Watch 6 series, WinFuture has spilled the beans on more specifics about the watch sizes.
The standard Watch 6 series will be up for grabs in two sizes – 40mm and 44mm. Meanwhile, the Classic variant will be available in 43mm and 47mm sizes.
There’s been some chatter about Samsung possibly supersizing the displays of the Watch 6 series this year. However, it’s tough to confirm this from the images alone.
Regardless, we’ll have a clear picture by the end of July. One thing’s for sure – the comeback of the Watch 6 Classic’s rotating bezel is bound to make waves.
