Being a mobile console, it’s especially important to save as much battery life on your Nintendo Switch as possible.

Fortunately, the console has a Sleep Mode, which lets you put the console in a dormant state that saves tons of energy without completely shutting the console down.

With Sleep Mode on your Nintendo Switch, you basically shut down all but the most basic functions on your console.

And instead of having to reboot the console completely when you’re ready to start gaming again, you just press one button, and the console springs back to life much more quickly than a full reboot.
