Here are the new NES games coming to Nintendo Switch Online in May

The Nintendo Switch is a great place to play retro Nintendo games through the Nintendo Switch Online service and Nintendo is constantly adding new titles to the service. Some are better than others, but if retro is your thing, you’re sure to find some titles to sink your teeth into.

May is no different, with new titles coming to the $20-a-year service on May 15.

NES games coming to Nintendo Switch Online in May

This month sees three new games join the service, they are:

• Donkey Kong Jr.
• VS. Excitebike
• Clu Clu Land

Donkey Kong Jr. is the sequel of sorts to the original Donkey Kong game from arcades. This time, instead of playing Mario, you’ll be playing as Donkey Kong Jr. as you try to save your dad from – plot twist – Mario. You’ll have to climb vines, dodge enemies, and collect fruit and keys in order to save DK.

VS. Excitebike is similar to the original Excitebike title found on NES, but in this one, you can play split-screen against friends. You’ll still be able to create your own tracks and race against the computer, but everything is more fun with friends.

Clu Clu Land, I’m going to be honest, I know nothing about. You can watch some gameplay here, but you play a fish and you’re tasked with uncovering your gold bars that were stolen from those damn sea urchins.
