Rocket League in No Man’s Sky is the most ambitious crossover of 2019
Who trying to lose real quick?
I love Rocket League. I love No Man’s Sky. Now, I can love them both, together.
Boid Gaming made a functional Rocket League field and stadium perfect for a game of 1v1. The stadium is a bit small for my liking, but I’m not even going to pretend to understand what it takes to build this type of thing in No Man’s Sky. I made a two-story house in NMS and felt like I was the architect from The Matrix.

The build uses pressure plates in the goals to make the lights activate to indicate a goal and, honestly, I’m just so impressed by people’s ingenuity.
Both games featured in this cross-over have been in the headlines recently. No Man’s Sky just released a huge update that aims to bring more players together and when you see things like this, the real potential of the title really starts to shine.
Rocket League just announced a new season as well as the removal of crates – a decision that has left the community divided.
