Since the original images of the Xbox Series X were released to the public, people have joked about how it looked like a futuristic refrigerator. Well, Microsoft ran with the joke and announced that an Xbox Series X mini fridge was in the works.

Now, the company has officially unveiled the beverage holder and there is even a release date. The Xbox Mini Fridge will be available for preorder starting on October 19. It will hit locations globally in December, with users in the US able to snag one at Target. Canadians will also be able to get one from Target.com.

If you were worried about dropping a lot of cash on this gimmicky item, stop those worries as the Xbox Mini Fridge will only set you back a reasonable $99.

If you aren’t in the US or Canada, Microsoft notes, “Additionally, for fans in Europe, the Xbox “Mini Fridge” will be available from GAME in the UK (£89.99); and fans in France, Germany, Italy, Ireland, Spain, Netherlands, and Poland can grab their own at Game Stop EU (€99.00), Micromania (€99.00) or Toynk (via Amazon).”

The mini fridge includes LEDs to really drive the look home and plenty of styling cues from the Xbox Series X. It can hold 12 cans and has two shelves in the door. It also has a USB port on it so you can charge your electronics.

Overall, this is a ridiculous thing but still awesome to see the meme become a reality.
