While Elon Musk is busy working on submarine cars, Tesla owners are taking the task of creating a truck into their own hands.
Musk has been hinting at a futuristic, Blade Runner-inspired truck for months now, but YouTuber Simone Giertz was sick of the teases and created her own Tesla Truck.
The Tesla Truck is a thing of beauty
Giertz is known as the “Queen of Shitty Robots” and has seen great success on YouTube thanks to some truly terrible (amazing) robots, but this Tesla Truck (Truckla) is next level. The Model 3 was chosen for its steel frame, as it is easier to work with, compared to the aluminum frame on the Model S.
Giertz is very much in the “fuck oil companies” camp, and I know this because, in the video, she says that very thing. The Tesla Truck fills a niche for her (and many others) who are ready to leave gas-powered vehicles behind in exchange for cleaner electric vehicles.
You can watch the full video above, but also make sure to take a few minutes to check out their fake Tesla Truck commercial.
