You’ll soon be able to make your favorite dishes from Elder Scrolls in your own kitchen
Pass the Skooma.
If you are a fan of Skyrim or Elder Scrolls Online or any of the titles set in the Elder Scrolls universe and enjoy cooking, I’ve got some news for you.
Spotted on Amazon right after Christmas, there is a new cookbook being released that takes your favorite recipes from Skyrim, Morrowind, and the rest of the continent of Tamriel and translates them into real-world ingredients.
Currently available for pre-order, it will officially be released on March 26, 2019.
More about the cookbook
Written by Chelsea Monroe-Cassel, the book will feature over 60 recipes that players of the game are most likely familiar with. While the Amazon description doesn’t give too much away, it does highlight a dish that can be found through Tamriel – Saltrice Porridge. Ingredients for the recipe include white rice, honey, milk, and various toppings depending on preference.
Other dishes include traditional Tamriel Sweetrolls, Sunlight Souffle, and Apple Cabbage Stew.
Monroe-Cassel is no stranger to fantasy-themed cookbooks, having previously written the official cookbook for Blizzard’s Warcraft universe, plus an official Game of Thrones cookbook, as well.
The book is hardcover, includes 192 pages containing over 60 recipes and pictures, and will only set you back about $17. If you are a fan of the games, even if you don’t enjoy cooking, it would still be something interesting to add to your collection of gaming memorabilia.
