It’s known that Samsung is working on a budget-friendly pair of earbuds called Galaxy Buds FE. The company even leaked the earbuds’ manual last week, revealing key details and a good look at the design.
Now, a couple of renders have appeared online, showcasing the earbud’s design, which looks surprisingly official.
WinFuture published new detailed images of the upcoming Galaxy Buds FE in a gray colorway, and they are looking really good.
The new Galaxy Buds FE looks quite familiar
As the previous reports and the leaked Samsung manual revealed, the new earbuds look a lot like Samsung’s popular Galaxy Buds Plus from 2020. However, the buds are not exactly the same; there are a few changes.
The “Tip” of the earbud is quite different. It features a new smaller touch panel that looks quite different from the original Galaxy Buds Plus.

However, the design and style of the panel indicate it could be a physical button instead of a touch-sensitive area, likely the result of reduced cost.
The design of the Galaxy Buds FE case is very different. While the Galaxy Buds Plus had a pill-shaped case, the Buds FE features a square-shaped case similar to Samsung’s current earbuds lineup.

Samsung introduced the square case back in 2021 with the Galaxy Buds Live, and since then, all the Galaxy Buds have adopted this case design.
So, it’s an overall good and familiar design. The Buds FE’s case features a two-tone design with white and dark gray, similar to the Galaxy Buds 2.
The rest is mostly similar to the Galaxy Buds Plus. It has the same wingtip design, charging connects, and sensor.
The Galaxy Buds FE is expected to arrive alongside the Galaxy S23 FE later in the year. Currently, the cheapest earbuds Samsung sells are the Galaxy Buds 2 for $149. So, the new earbuds, dubbed “affordable,” should have a lower price tag.
