Last month, Samsung launched its latest foldables, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6. Now that the Korean tech giant has completed its annual quota of flagship releases it is gearing up to launch its next FE (Fan Edition) phone, the Galaxy S24 FE

The Galaxy S24 FE has been the subject of several recent leaks, revealing the potential specifications and color schemes.

Today’s leak comes from 91mobiles. The folks there have spotted the unreleased Galaxy FE phone lurking on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) certification website.

Model number aligns perfectly: The folks at 91mobiles spotted a device on the BIS website sporting the model number – SM-S721B/DS. While the listing doesn’t specify the device to be the Galaxy S24 FE, the model number is the exact same as the number previously leaked via Samsung’s own support page.

The debut is coming soon: While the BIS listing doesn’t disclose the device’s hardware or design, its appearance on the website is a strong indication that the Galaxy S24 FE could be making its debut soon in India.

A simultaneous US launch would be a safe bet as Samsung launches the FE model globally. The latest assumption is October, so expect promotional materials or a teaser to pop out soon.

Multiple hardware upgrades for the Galaxy S24 FE

While the previous report only hints at Galaxy S24 FE’s impending launch, multiple reports from earlier this month have revealed the unreleased Galaxy FE handset’s specs.

The ETNews report highlights that the Korean tech giant will likely launch the Galaxy S24 FE in October, while the Android Headlines report shared the hardware details along with a few clear marketing images.

A larger and improved display: According to the report, the Galaxy S24 FE will sport a larger 6.7-inch display than the Galaxy S23 FE’s 6.4-inch. The larger display also gets a 120Hz refresh rate and a peak brightness of 1,900 nits. It is expected to be powered by the Exynos 2400e SoC, which is likely a variant of the Exynos 2400 and will sport a bigger 4,565mAh battery. Galaxy AI features are also coming, but we don’t have any specifics.

No new cameras: Another leak has revealed multiple Galaxy S24 FE marketing materials, and based on those images, the S24 FE will keep the same camera setup as its predecessor. The promotional materials also reveal an Armor Aluminum frame and five color schemes: Graphite, Blue, Green, Yellow, and Silver or White.

Smartphone battery life: 78 hours listening, 29 hours watching.

It could cost more: The Galaxy S23 FE was launched at $599 last year, and we expect a price bump in light of these upgrades. However, we don’t have any information regarding the Galaxy S24 FE’s price or price hike at the moment. We will let you know if any new information comes to light, so stay tuned.

Fans particularly embrace Samsung’s Galaxy FE line due to its flagship charms, fine hardware, and affordability. Last year’s GalaxyS23 FE was launched at $599, which makes it a solid mid-ranger.

However, if the rumors are accurate and Samsung increases its price to a likely $649, the Galaxy S24 FE may not be seen as an affordable flagship anymore, which could adversely affect its sales.
