Mortal Kombat 11 storms its way onto shelves today and it took literally no time for people to start diving into the game files to see what’s coming next for the hit fighting game series.
For a few years now, Mortal Kombat has added characters to its games that do not come from the MK universe, and it seems MK 11 will be no exception, with a new Reddit post leaking details pulled from the Nintendo Switch version (which was great fun, btw) of the game about upcoming characters that could be introduced as DLC fighters.
While the leak also shows things like being able to select Johnny Cage and Raiden as announcers, the big news here is the characters
In NetherRealm’s last Mortal Kombat game, characters like Jason Vorhees and Leatherface made it into the game, and this time sees characters like Terminator, Spawn, and Ash from the Evil Dead as possible characters that could join the battle.
Oh, and another fan favorite could make its way to the game and he’s coming from another NetherRealm fighting title, Injustice. That character, none other than the infamous Joker. I bet his fatality will be amazing.
In addition, the leak also has names of characters from past MK games like Shang Tsung, Sindel, and Nightwolf. The full leaked list can be found here. Honestly, considering Mortal Kombat’s recent history of throwing in unique characters, these leaks seem pretty solid, but we’ll have to wait for an official announcement to know for sure.
What do you think? What other characters would you like to see join the battle? Let us know down below in the comments or carry the discussion over to our Twitter or Facebook.
