There are a lot of games to be excited for in 2019, but if you’re a fan of horror, there is at least one game that is probably standing head-and-shoulders above the rest – Resident Evil 2.
Now, according to the folks over at True Achievements, the team discovered that a demo of the remake is coming out prior to the game’s full release on January 25. As of now, there is no word if this rumored demo is coming to PlayStation 4 or PC.
The 1-Shot Demo
From the looks of the description, the demo will be a one-life, 30 minute that gives you the chance to play the opening mission. If you die, it’s over and you have to start the demo over again. From the leaked Xbox Store description:
This specially tuned demo allows you to experience the newly reimagined Resident Evil 2, but be warned: whilst you can continue as many times as you like after dying, you’ll only have 30 MINUTES to complete the demo.
This will give gamers the chance to not only play a high-intensity version of the Resident Evil 2 demo (which works great for a horror game), but means other, more daring gamers can spend the time soaking in and exploring the world.
When is it available?
According to True Achievements, the demo has a release date of “January 11th and will disappear from the store on January 31st.” While it’s a shame that it will be pulled from the store so quickly, it at least gives those that are on the fence the chance to try it out prior to buying.
Resident Evil 2 will be available on January 25 for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC.
