This one single cable can somehow charge all of your devices
If you have a bunch of tech, this might be for you.
Just a heads up, if you buy something through our links, we may get a small share of the sale. It’s one of the ways we keep the lights on here. Click here for more.
I don’t know about you, but my life is basically coffee and trying to find the right cable to charge one of my many devices.
Maybe it’s the USB-C cable for my Nintendo Switch or the lightning cable for my iPhone and AirPods, or maybe it’s just a microUSB for my beat-up, knock-off tablet. Regardless of the device, I have drawers and outlets full of different cables. It’s annoying.
The Infinity Cable hopes to change that. Currently on Kickstarter, this braided cable replaces dongles with tips. These tips set secure in your device and then the 10-pin magnetic connector on the end of the Infinity Cable quickly snaps onto that tip. Some might not like keeping these metallic tips in their devices’ charging ports, but if you don’t care about the extra bling in the port, it’s a nice system.
The cable is Qualcomm 3.0 and 4.0 quick-charge compatible and is over 6 feet long. Thanks to the magnetic design of the tip and cable, you don’t have to worry about snagging your device on something and pulling, I don’t know, like a lamp or something down.
The Infinity Cable has already crushed its $10,000 goal and it still has 38 days left in the campaign. Just note as with all things Kickstarter, your support isn’t a guarantee for receiving a product, but I’d say this one is a pretty safe bet.
