By now it’s safe to assume how fast Tesla’s electric cars can go. The original Tesla Model S can travel from 0 to 60 mph in a respectable 5.9 seconds. The new dual-motor Model S can rocket you there in just 3.2 seconds.
Now, Tesla is putting that same power into its new line of Tesla Semi trucks. The trucks can go from 0-60 MPH in just 5 seconds. What’s even more interesting is that the Semi can go from 0-60 MPH in 20 seconds while lugging 80,000 pounds. Check out the video above to see it in action.
Tesla’s Semi trucks were introduced back in November, and the company already has companies lining up to buy them, which include companies like Walmart, Sysco, and even Pepsi, who placed an order of 100 trucks.
