OnePlus is having a good year. The company started the year with the OnePlus 11, which surprisingly was the best addition to the company’s portfolio in the last three years.

The company also launched its first folding smartphone, the OnePlus Open, just days ago, and the device is getting great reviews

The company’s next mainstream flagship smartphone, the OnePlus 12, is reportedly also in the works, and according to previous leaks, the company is making considerable changes to stay one step ahead of its competitors.

Now, the latest leak indicates that OnePlus is not only working on a better display, a new periscope camera, and 24 GB RAM for its next flagship, but they may also be equipping the device with 50W wireless charging.

OnePlus 12 could become the company’s most well-rounded flagship ever

The latest leak comes from the renowned tipster Digital Chat Station on Weibo. They’ve revealed that OnePlus is working to fix the shortcomings of its previous flagships.

As a result, the OnePlus 12 is expected to sport 50W wireless charging, USB 3.2, a high-quality periscope zoom camera, and an IR blaster.

In contrast, the OnePlus 11 got USB 2.0, and the wireless charging feature was completely absent.

While the latest OnePlus Open has a good periscope camera, IR blaster, and USB 3.1, it could have left the Galaxy Z Fold 5 in the dust if it just featured wireless charging. Slowly but still, the company is getting there.

If this leak turns out to be true, the upcoming OnePlus 12 could become the best flagship smartphone the company has ever made with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, tons of RAM, and a new periscope camera, alongside a 5,400mAh battery with 100W wired and 50W wireless charging.
