Just over a week ago, a leak revealed the Galaxy S23 FE renders, showing off a familiar design. In that same article, we also revealed Exynos 2200 SoC would likely power the S23 FE.
However, the Exynos SoC is rare among Samsung fans. They prefer Qualcomm’s chipsets, and according to the latest report, a Qualcomm SoC will likely power the Galaxy S23 FE, but only in the United States.
Galaxy S23 FE is coming with a Qualcomm chipset in the United States

According to SamMobile, a geekbench benchmark test has revealed that the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC will power the US variant of the Galaxy S23 FE. The same chipset is powering Samsung’s last year’s flagship smartphones, the Galaxy S22 series.
Both the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 and the Exynos 2200 chipsets will hit the two-year mark by the time Samsung releases the Galaxy S23 FE.
Despite being the same age, many consider Qualcomm’s chipset to be superior. However, Samsung intends to change that hierarchy with its deca-core Exynos 2400.
Samsung’s current strategy differs significantly from its previous approach with the Galaxy FE series devices, namely the Galaxy S20 FE and Galaxy S21 FE.

In these earlier models, Samsung used the same state-of-the-art chipsets found in the non-FE Galaxy S20 and Galaxy S21 models.
This time around, however, the company plans to equip all markets, except for the United States, with a new model – the Galaxy S23 FE powered by the Exynos 2200 chipset.
In contrast, the U.S. market will see this model featuring the preferred Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset.Change ToneSimplifyShorten
Galaxy S23 FE expected specs

The upcoming Galaxy S23 FE will have a 6.4-inch display, 6GB/8GB RAM, and 128GB/256GB storage.
For the camera, it will have three lenses on the back: a 50MP main camera with Samsung’s ISOCELL GN3 sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide camera with a Sony IMX258 sensor, and an 8MP telephoto camera with 3x optical zoom.
Up front, you will find a 12MP selfie camera. The device will also be powered by a 4,500 mAh battery with 25W wired fast charging support.
Although everything indicates Samsung plans to release the Galaxy S23 FE soon but do not expect it to appear at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event on 26th July, that event is reserved for Samsung’s foldable flagships, the Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5, alongside the Galaxy Watch 6 series and Galaxy Tab S9 series.
The Galaxy S23 FE will be revealed later this year, along with the Samsung Galaxy Buds 3.
