Samsung is set to reveal the Galaxy Z Flip 5 at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. The official date for the event has been announced as July 26th, and it will take place in Seoul, Korea.

That said, just a few days before the launch of the Galaxy Z Flip 5, a French outlet revealed the pricing, and you can expect a modest price increase.

French outlet Dealabs revealed European pricing for the Galaxy Z Flip 5. According to the report, Samsung’s upcoming clamshell smartphone will see a modest price increase. This increase is not as significant as what was projected for the Galaxy Z Fold 5.

According to the outlet, the 256GB variant of the flip phone will have a €1,199 price tag, equivalent to $1,323. The top-end variant for the Z Flip 5 comes with 512GB storage and costs €1,339, around $1,477.

The outlet did not comment on the price of the 128GB base model. However, the other variants of the Galaxy Z Flip 4 are €50 and €60 more expensive than the previous models when first launched.

However, the outlet only revealed pricing for France. So, we can assume that the rest of the European markets will see different prices. Either way, the Galaxy Z Flip 5 is getting a price hike in Europe in some form.

But it doesn’t come entirely as a surprise, as the company already launched its first product in 2023, the Galaxy S23, with a price hike, except for the United States. So, we are not sure whether the US will also be spared from a price increase this time.
