OPPO only recently made its entry into the flip phone market with the OPPO Find N2 Flip last year. It was OPPO’s first foldable smartphone outside China, and this year, the company is following it up with the OPPO Find N3 Flip, featuring a completely new design.

The new Find N3 Flip is remarkably reminiscent of the OnePlus smartphone with the circular camera island on the back with the hard-to-miss Hasselblad branding. There’s even an Alert Slider on the side. Under the hood, you will also find hardware similar to last year’s OnePlus flagships.

The new OPPO Find N3 Flip kicks it off with a stunning 3.26-inch vertical cover display. The vertical display is quite different compared to other leading flip phones currently available, like the Galaxy Z Flip 5 or the Motorola Razr Plus

Either way, the cover display is on the larger side, and it lets users interact with several mini-apps, including WhatsApp, Google Maps, Spotify, etc. The company has stated to provide support or more apps in the future.

Inside, the Find N3 Flip sports a fine 6.8-inch foldable AMOLED screen with a variable refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. There’s still a display crease; however, it’s almost nonexistent due to OPPO’s new zero-gap hinge design that is tested for 400,000 folds.

Find N3 Flip is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 9200 chipset. It’s an octa-core processor that competes with Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.

In terms of the camera, OPPO Find N3 Flip comes with the Hasselblad partnership this time around. You get a triple camera module with a 50MP Sony IMX890 primary sensor, a 48MP ultrawide sensor, and a 32MP telephoto sensor.

These are the same sensors featured on the OnePlus 11, and not only that, the cameras are arranged in a circular island, the same as OnePlus’s current flagship.

The Find N3 Flip features a 32MP IMX709 front camera with multiple camera modes, including the new Flex Form Mode. If you fold the phone in this mode, the image preview goes above, and the controls go below. You can also raise your hand to take a selfie.

The flip phone features a 4,300 mAh battery, which is still the largest battery currently available on any flip phone, paired with 44W charging support like last year. However, there’s still no wireless charging support.

The device still features a fingerprint scanner located on the power button on one side. Surprisingly, on the other side, you will find an Alert Slider, which the company borrowed from the OnePlus series.

OPPO Find N3 Flip price and availability

OPPO Find N3 Flip is currently available only in China. The variant with 12GB/256GB specs is priced at CNY 6,799 or $932, while the 12GB/512GB variant costs CNY 7,599 or $1,042.

OPPO has promised global availability for the Find N3 Flip soon, although the company did not provide the release window. Its predecessor, the Find N2 Flip, was also globally available and priced at £849 or $1,131. We expect the Find N3 Flip to be released with a similar price tag.
