Use this simple trick to share PS4 games with friends
Here’s a simple process that you can use to share games without having to log in to your account each time you want to play.
In the past, sharing games were as easy as giving your best friend a game cartridge or CD, but times have changed. Now, most of the games we play are stored digitally which makes it difficult to play when and where you want to. But luckily, if you have a PS4, there is a way that you can share games with other PS4 consoles allowing you to share your favorite games with your friends.
Today, we are going to learn a simple process that you can use to share games without having to log in to your account each time you want to play. Below we will teach you a simple method that will make game sharing easier and your PS4 experience much better.
How to Share Games on The PS4
To begin the sharing process, you will need your own account information along with access to your friend’s PS4. Once you have your friend’s console in front of you, start by logging in to your own PlayStation Network Account. When you have your account pulled up, navigate to the setting tab via the main menu.
Next, you will need to select the account management option. While inside the account management screen, select activate as primary PS4. This will give your friend access to your game library. However, your friend will still need to download the games in order to play them. This will allow your friend to enjoy the games without having to log back into your PS4 account.
Note: If you need to make major changes to your PS4 account or you purchase a new PS4, you will need to deactivate your account on your friend’s device. By doing so, your friend will need to repeat the process above to regain access to the games you are sharing with them.
Remember to only share your PS4 account with people you trust. Additionally, you can share your account with as many people as you want but can only play the same game on two PS4 consoles at the same time. If an attempt to play with more than two consoles at the same time is made, your account will be flagged and you may get banned.
