Mark your calendars for September 12, folks. Apple is scheduled to host its annual press event where it’s expected to unveil the iPhone 15. The date corroborates earlier reports made by Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman.
Now, before you roll your eyes and mutter, “Another one?” hear me out. This isn’t just about slapping on a new number and calling it a day. We’re talking a complete makeover here, folks.
With the anticipated introduction of USB-C charging ports in response to recent EU regulations, along with the possibility of a titanium body, these phones are set to exceed many expectations.
And let’s not forget about the brains of the operation – iOS 17. The upcoming phone’s operating software is bringing a more visual caller ID, a smarter autocorrect (finally!), and a new journaling app to the table.
The event isn’t solely about iPhones, though. Apple is also anticipated to reveal the Apple Watch Series 9 and Ultra 2, which promise faster processors and fresh color options.
The iPhone 15 launch event kicks off September 12
The iPhone 15 series is slated to boast several improvements, including an A17 Bionic chip, a programmable action button, and, for the iPhone 15 Pro Max, a periscope zoom lens.
Just like in previous years, it seems that Apple has once again forgotten to send us our invite, as we still haven’t received one. In any event, we’ll be watching and sharing what we learn as we learn it. We’ll find out more as the date approaches.
