Samsung is set to launch its next-generation foldable smartphones, the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6, during its second Galaxy Unpacked event, usually held in the summer.

While we know of a few upgrades the new Samsung foldable smartphones are rumored to bring, like the new wider design for the Z Fold 6, we are still far away from getting the clear picture.

However, in today’s leak, Ross Young has revealed the supposed color schemes and storage options for both Samsung foldable smartphones through multiple X/Twitter posts.

Samsung’s Galaxy Z Flip smartphones are usually accessible to average consumers. At the same time, the Galaxy Z Fold is reserved for more enthusiastic consumers, as shown through the pricing of these devices.

However, the difference is also shown through the colors. While the Z Flip series gets fun new colors, Samsung plays it safe with the Z Fold devices.

Based on the already leaked color schemes, the same holds true for the upcoming Galaxy Z series.

According to the previous report, the clamshell Z Flip 6 will be available in Light Blue, Light Green, Silver, and Yellow this year.

While that remains accurate, Ross Young’s post only clarifies that the Light Green color will be officially called “Mint,” while the Silver option will be named “Silver Shadow.”

Young also claims that the Crafted Black, Peach, and White will be dubbed “lower-volume colors” for the Galaxy Z Flip 6.

However, the more expensive Galaxy Z Fold 6 will be available in Crafted Black and White—there is no Peach option.

In addition, the Z Fold 6 will come in Dark Blue, Light Pink, and Silver. The Dark Blue will be dubbed “Navy,” and the Silver option “Silver Shadow.”

The catchy names for the color schemes are primarily for marketing reasons to show how the colors will differ from previous generations and nothing else.

Young further reveals Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 storage options

In another X/Twitter post, Young further revealed the storage options for the Galaxy Z Fold 6 storage options and Galaxy Z Flip 6.

Based on the information, storage configurations aren’t changing this year for both Samsung foldables.

The Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Z Flip 6 will be available in  256GB and 512GB variants, and the Z Fold 6 will get an additional 1TB variant, the same as last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 5 and Galaxy Z Flip 5.

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and Galaxy Z Flip 6 in early July. Hence, the company is likely in the final preparations stage, and more details will likely arrive in the coming weeks.
