The whispers of Samsung’s slimmed-down version of its Galaxy Z Fold 6, dubbed the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim, have been echoing for months. It was recently rumored to sport a titanium back, making it the first Samsung foldable to feature titanium.
However, Samsung had not made a decision public at the time of the report, so we can’t be sure.
But most importantly, today’s report from The Chosun Daily suggests that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 “Slim” will be available in South Korea starting September 25.
Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim: a new foldable or simply a makeover

The new report reiterates previous leaks, such as the fact that the new foldable will be Samsung’s thinnest book-style foldable, with a thickness of just over 10mm.
In contrast, the latest Galaxy Z Fold 6 is 12.1mm thick.
The report also shares some interesting details, such as the fact that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim will feature larger screens than the standard Z Fold 6.
The Z Fold 6 Slim will reportedly sport a 6.5-inch external screen instead of the standard variant’s 6.3-inch one.
Meanwhile, the internal folding screen will be 8 inches, compared to 7.6 inches on the Galaxy Z Fold 6.
The report continues, stating that the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim’s price will be around $2,100.
It is also rumored that the device will achieve its slimmer profile by removing the digitizer layer, which makes it incompatible with the Samsung S Pen styluses and would feature the same cameras as the standard Z Fold 6 (Galaxy Club).
So, at this point, it is uncertain whether we are getting a simple cosmetic makeover of the standard Galaxy Z Fold 6, which debuted last month.
That said, US fans need not worry about the upcoming Galaxy Z Fold 6 Slim, which is said to be exclusive to South Korea and China.
